A New Heart from God

I WILL GIVE YOU A NEW HEART AND PUT A NEW SPIRIT
WITHIN YOU; I WILL TAKE THE HEART OF STONE OUT OF YOUR FLESH AND GIVE YOU A NEW HEART OF FLESH.  I WILL PUT MY SPIRIT WITHIN YOU AND CAUSE
YOU TO WALK IN MY STATUES, AND YOU WILL KEEP MY JUDGMENTS AND DO THEM.                     (EZEKIEL 36:26-27 *NKJV )

 Dear Brethren,
Now this verse proves that GOD did the very first
heart transplant.  In fact HE has been doing transplants for
thousands of years!  Even better than that, the heart that
  GOD gives to us is filled with the fruit of the spirit!  And;

THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS LOVE, JOY, PEACE,
  PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS FAITHFULNESS,
  GENTLENESS AND SELF-CONTROL.  ( GALATIANS 5:22 )

Remember when you invited GOD into your life.
Think about how hard your life was before that day!  Also
think about how your life has changed for the better since
  then!

Now just in case you haven't received that new heart yet,
today would be a great day to ask GOD for it!  No appointment

is needed, and HE won't leave you in the waiting room for two
hours, reading last years magazines either!
By the way you won't need health Insurance to pay for it
because is a free gift from GOD as well.

So why not ask GOD for that new heart today, if you
  haven't already?  For HE has said;
"THEN I WILL GIVE
THEM ONE HEART, AND I WILL PUT A NEW SPIRIT
WITHIN THEM, AND TAKE THE STONY HEART OUT OF
THEIR FLESH, AND GIVE THEM A HEART OF FLESH,
THAT THEY MAY WALK IN MY STATUTES AND KEEP
MY JUDGMENTS AND DO THEM; AND THEY SHALL BE
MY PEOPLE, AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD."    ( EZEKIEL 11:19 )

Now, may you; GROW IN THE GRACE AND
KNOWLEDGE OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS
CHRIST.  TO HIM BE GLORY BOTH NOW AND
  FOREVER!  AMEN.    ( 2 PETER 3:18 )

Blessings;

Pleasing God, Not People

The following is a reprint of a blog message written by Chuck Swindoll that serves as an important reminder to Elders; Pastor/Teachers about our calling.

Pleasing God, Not People
I see it every night on the news. The politics of backslapping and handshaking and making sure “so-and-so” isn’t turned off—it’s maddening! (We call it “smoke-blowing” here in Texas.) It’s become a political race where the objective is favorable public opinion. Period.

If we’re not careful, we can let politics work its way into our churches. And even worse, into our pulpits. In fact, the pastorate is a breeding ground for this sort of thing—maybe more than most professions.
I love the way the apostle Paul keeps our motives clean and our focus sharp:
Just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who examines our hearts. For we never came with flattering speech, as you know. (1 Thessalonians 2:4–5)
People-pleasing is a very tempting allurement, especially for people in ministry, because most of what we do gets done through people. When needing volunteer positions filled—whether in the nursery, for a Sunday school class, among the ushers, or even in our music ministry—it’s easy to massage our words and say more than we mean . . . or say something other than what we mean. (That’s called a lie.) The pastor must resist the temptation to flatter. We must refuse to play both sides against the middle. Don’t go there. Why? Because once you start, it’s hard to stop.
When a pastor is a people-pleaser, he sits on the fence so as not to offend anyone. He remains neutral when he should NOT be playing it safe. He tells people what they want to hear rather than what they need to hear. That’s not pastoring . . . that’s politics.
Look at the apostle’s words one more time. I find myself both challenged and refreshed by Paul’s transparency: “We speak, not as pleasing men, but God who examines our hearts.”

Psalm 23

Almost everyone, whether religious or not has
heard the 23rd PSALM, because it is quoted so very often,
especially at funeral services.  Many even refer to it as the
Resurrection Psalm.  However this beautiful Psalm by David
actually Ministers to the living as well!

So let us see how this beautiful Psalm by David, actually
applies to us each and summarizes God's Word as well.

PSALM 23

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD; I SHALL NOT WANT.

And God will meet all your needs according to His glorious
riches in Christ Jesus.  ( Philippians 4:19 )

HE MAKES ME TO LIE DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES,
HE LEADS MY BESIDE QUIET WATERS,

Whether you turn to the right or the left, your ears will hear
a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it."
  ( Isaiah 30:21 )

HE RESTORES MY SOUL.  HE GUIDES ME IN THE PATH
OF RIGHTEOUSNESS FOR HIS NAME'S SAKE.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
  ( Psalm 119:105 )

EVEN THOUGH I WALK THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE
SHADOW OF DEATH, I WILL FEAR NO EVIL, FOR YOU
ARE WITH ME; YOUR ROD AND YOUR STAFF THEY
  COMFORT ME.

When you pass through the waters, they will not sweep over
you.  When you walk through fire, you will not be burned; the
flames will not set you ablaze.
  ( Isaiah 43:2 )

YOU PREPARE A TABLE BEFORE ME IN THE
PRESENCE OF MY ENEMIES.  YOU ANOINT MY HEAD
  WITH OIL; MY CUP OVERFLOWS.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us in the spiritual realms with every
spiritual blessing in Christ.  For He chose us in Him before
the creation of the World to be holy and blameless in His
  sight.  ( Ephesians 1:3-4 )

SURELY GOODNESS AND LOVE WILL FOLLOW ME ALL
THE DAYS OF MY LIFE, AND I WILL DWELL IN THE
  HOUSE OF THE LORD FOREVER.

For God so loved the World that He gave His one and only
son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have
  eternal life.  ( John 3:16 )

      Finally, know that you are very special to God, and;

THE LORD YOUR GOD IS WITH YOU, HE WILL TAKE
GREAT DELIGHT IN YOU, HE WILL QUIET YOU WITH HIS
LOVE, HE WILL REJOICE OVER YOU WITH SINGING.
  Amen.     ( ZEPHANIAH 3:17 )

God bless you.

Thank God for Persistent Moms

While it is a day where we gush about mothers and all the wonderful things they have done or are doing in our lives I would also like to talk about real life for mothers also.

A mother of 5 children was asked one time, if she had the opportunity to go back, would she do it all over again – she replied sure, just not the same ones. 😊

I came across a job description for mom’s and I feel that seeing as we are talking about reality it would be good to share this with all the husbands and children today.

Wanted:
Long term team players for challenging permanent work in an often chaotic environment. Candidates must possess excellent communication and organizational skills and be willing to work variable hours that will include evenings and weekends and frequent 24 hour shifts on call. Some overnight travel required including trips to primitive campsites on rainy weekends and endless sports events in faraway towns and cities. Travel expenses not reimbursed.

Responsibilities:
For the rest of your life – must be willing to be hated, at least temporarily, until someone needs money.
Must be willing to bite tongue repeatedly also must possess the stamina of a packed mule.
Must screen phone calls, maintain calendars and coordinate production of multiple homework projects.
Must have the ability to plan and organize social gatherings for clients of all ages and mental outlooks.
Must be willing to be indispensable one minute and an embarrassment the next.
Must handle assembly and product safety testing of a half million cheap plastic toys and battery operated devices.
Must always be prepared for the best but expect the worst.
Must assume final complete accountability for the quality of the end product. Possibility for advancement and promotion? None! Your job is to remain in the same position for years and decades, without complaining, constantly retraining or updating your skills so that those in your charge can ultimately surpass you.

Previous experience: none required, fortunately. On the job training offered on a continually exhausting basis.

Wages & Compensation:
Get this – you pay them! Offering frequent raises and bonuses in the process. A balloon payment is expected when they turn 18 because of the assumption that college will help them become financially independent. (and we all laugh at that).
When you die you give them all the rest. The oddest thing about this reverse salary scheme is that you actually enjoy it and you wish you could only do more.

Benefits:
While health and dental insurance is not guaranteed, there will be no pension plan, tuition reimbursement, no paid holidays, and no stock options are offered, this job however supplies limitless opportunities for personal growth and free hugs for a lifetime if you play your cards right.

With a little not-far from the truth humor - we honor all Mothers on this Sunday for the sacrifices they make daily to leave a lasting legacy for their children to follow.

Love & Peace

THOUGH THE MOUNTAINS BE SHAKEN AND THE HILLS
BE REMOVED, YET MY UNFAILING LOVE FOR YOU WILL
NOT BE SHAKEN NOR MY COVENANT OF PEACE BE
REMOVED, SAYS THE LORD, WHO HAS COMPASSION
ON YOU.
                          ( ISAIAH 54:10 *NIV )

Dear brethren, there is no way to measure the tremendous love and compassion that God has for those who love Him,
FOR THIS IS LOVE: NOT THAT WE LOVED GOD, BUT
HE LOVED US AND SENT HIS SON AS AN ATONING
SACRIFICE FOR OUR SINS. ( 1 JOHN 4:10 )
Therefore; WE KNOW AND RELY ON THE LOVE GOD HAS
FOR US.  GOD IS LOVE.  WHOEVER LIVES IN LOVE LIVES
IN GOD, AND GOD IN HIM.   ( 1 JOHN 4:16 )

Also through our faith we come to know peace as we
have never known it before, for it is written; THEREFORE, SINCE
WE HAVE BEEN JUSTIFIED THROUGH FAITH, WE HAVE
PEACE WITH GOD THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.
( ROMANS 5:1 )

Therefore; LET THE PEACE OF CHRIST RULE YOUR
HEARTS, SINCE AS MEMBERS OF ONE BODY YOU
WERE CALLED TO PEACE.  AND BE THANKFUL.
( COLOSSIANS 3:15 )

So, if you haven't already, give your heart to
Jesus, for then; THE PEACE OF GOD, WHICH TRANSCENDS
ALL UNDERSTANDING, WILL GUARD YOUR HEART AND
YOUR MIND IN JESUS CHRIST.  Amen.
( PHILIPPIANS 4:7 )
